Dear GAD-contact,

Herewith we are proud to inform you about the transfer of the CEO function of the Global Agricultural Development Foundation as per the 1st of February.

After raising the GAD Foundation in 2017 from an initiative of the Rabobank Foundation, the GAD Foundation has made huge progress and became very successful. This success would not have been possible without the cooperation of our valuable partners and stakeholders, and not to forget the small dairy farmers whom we have trained. Because of this progress and the upscaling of the successful project we have decided to assign this function to someone living in Kenya to make the GAD Foundation even more sustainable and active in the local market.

We are happy to announce that we will transfer the position as a CEO to Sigrid Kootstra. Sigrid has been working and living in African countries for more than 20 years and will follow and implement the GAD vision and mission with passion.

We are also proud of the accomplishments of Charlotte during the past years. She was beyond dedicated and because of her knowledge, skills and persistence GAD was able to make a successful start and is now ready for the next step.

Charlotte: “I foresee a successful, innovative future for the GAD Foundation. I hope that I can witness that future and make my contribution to it as a technical assistant for the GAD Foundation starting from the 1st of February. In my time at GAD, I made friends for life, and I want to thank everyone for the years I have been able to work with you.”

Warm regards,

Charlotte Pompe, Sigrid Kootstra and on behalf of the Board, Jules Coenen
